I've told you about "caballitos de totora" (see post) , this "boats" are made of totora, this plant grow near to the beach and fishers take care, dry and use for their "caballitos". For them this is important because this activity is their life and our history.

Computer house

This old colonial house was rebuilt recently. It was closed for many years then it was an store of computers, a few time later it was rebuilt. It's good to see owners keep the style of this house, now the "future" (computers and accesories) lives good at the "history".

Paella

The famous "paella", emblematic dish of the Spanish food, but, in Peru the paella has the same ingredients offered in Spain, with the exception of which the one of here, instead of the classic water whereupon it prepares the common rice, uses a fish broth and crabs that to him an unique flavor provides to the added saffron to rice... do you like the paella?

Mango is my favorite fruit :) ...it`s a tropical fruit, very popular on the peruvian coast. Summer is the best time to buy it (0.6 dollars for 1Kg.), the rest months of the year is no so easy to found it and it's a little more expensive (1.5 dollars for 1Kg).

Some of history

In this place it was found a tattoed mummy (see article), she was named "la señora de Cao" and for me it's great to know the people who discovered, I designed the cover of one book of them ^.^ This is a view from the Archaeological Complex "El Brujo", here it's a historic place with a lot of mistery, many things haven't discovered but there are a lot of signs in its walls.
