Theme day: "street light"

I think "Theme day" is special for me :o) ...one of my favorite things about my city is the street lamps (located in Historic Center of Trujillo ). I like to imagine when people get fire in these lamps, now light bulb is the most common everywhere.

Creo que el tema de hoy es especial para mí :o)... una de las cosas favoritas acerca de mi ciudad son los faroles de las calles (ubicadas en el Centro Histórico de Trujillo). Me encanta imaginar cuando antiguamente los encendian con fuego, algo tan común en aquellos tiempos como lo es ahora con las bombillas de luz.

Yes, they must have been very nice when they were lit up by gas fire.

The balcony on the building opposite to the lamp has such a lovely intricate grill work.
