Estuve caminando por una de las calles de Huanchaco y de repente vi a este hombre, un pescador tradicional, haciendo su "caballito de totora", fue muy emocionante!.

Ohh I would have wanted to stay there and watch him make the whole thing. Traditional crafting is so amazing especially how its passed down from generation to generation.

I like your photograph of this man making his boat.
Those reeds must swell when wet, thus keeping the boat watertight and the boater safe.
I've never seen that before. Your earlier photos of them are great too. I always learn something here.
