Plazuela El Recreo

This is a detail of a nice monument, which was in the middle of the main square, but it was taken to five blocks up, Pizarro Street, maybe it was little in comparisson to the actual monumment which was a gift from France Goverment.

France gave the Statue of Liberty to the US, and this statue to Peru. Now I'm wondering, to what other countries has France been so generous?

I don't know if they gave some gift to Spain as neighboors...
I like the darkness of your photo, Giuce!

I like your photograph and the depth of color and shadow. Very nice.

I came to thank you for visiting my blog yesterday. Today I show my wife, of 52 years, and President Bush's jet that is carrying his automobiles.
