This gourds are handpainted by moche artists, they belong to Art School and sell this gourds to foreign people, because in Peru, people don't use this products for nests o birdhouses, but this young people is creating new products for local consumers... it's a challenge for them.

I imagine some of these youngsters are getting their start in art through projects like this.
A wonderful way to show their art talents. I hope the people in Peru will come to appreciate this local talent.
