I have few minutes for posting this :S---> This is Koricancha, an old inca temple wich was destroy for building a church (Santo Domingo), it's an interesting place for history and architecture... you can read more about this here
Municipal Theatre is the mos important theatre of Trujillo, here, many artistic and cultural groups presents their works. This building is very old was built in january 10th of 1876.
Mamey (mammee or mammee apple) is a very delicious fruit beacause its smell is pleasant and appetizing. When unripe, the fruit is hard and heavy but its flesh slightly softens when fully ripe. Beneath the skin, the flesh can have various textures (crispy or juicy, firm or tender).
One mamey costs $0.4 dollar, people like to buy it at the streets and walk eating the fruit.
Colonial balconies were a characteristic style in Trujillo, they are original, non repeated, and they are less and less. This balconie is over an little casino.
" Chicha morada" is a soft drink which takes on the color of one of its main ingredients: purple maize!.
Chicha morada is prepared from a base of boiled purple maize to which are added chunks of pineapple, cinnamon, sugar, and some of lemon finally, maybe a little of ice as it cools. It's a soft drink very popular in Peru.
Yellow house was a church but now, it's part of the main University of Trujillo, which use it for academic events or special ceremonies. The other house is the Beneficence which rents the most of its offices, it's very cheap instead of this house is in front of the main square of Trujillo.

"La Tarumba" is almost a circus and almost theatre. This project started like a street circus with some actors and poor people, mainly young people. Now, La Tarumba it's a complete show but it's an profesional school of circus, theatre and popular music.
Today, we celebrate Pisco day in Peru. Pisco is a liquor distilled from grapes and it's very popular, specially when it's prepared in Pisco Sour (at the photo). This emblematic drink is sometimes center of dispute between Chile and Peru, but if you taste both (peruvian pisco and chilean pisco), they are different, that's all.
Sometimes people forget to keep the history of our city, many old colonial houses is being destroy or rebuilt without considering the old shape. Nobody say anything about this. For example in this pic, this old house was an restaurant now it's a barber and the window was destroyed to make a door... an ugly metal door.
Today, city bloggers around the world show the theme "what annoys you most in your city"... it's an oportunity to see one theme in many blogs ^^
