" Chicha morada" is a soft drink which takes on the color of one of its main ingredients: purple maize!. Chicha morada is prepared from a base of boiled purple maize to which are added chunks of pineapple, cinnamon, sugar, and some of lemon finally, maybe a little of ice as it cools. It's a soft drink very popular in Peru.
