Black Flag

I saw these black flags today, it was very strange to see those flags on the stores, I guess this is related to the closure of this street for the cars, it will be a walking street and some stores aren't agree with the measure.
Hoy encontré estas banderas negras en el centro de la ciudad, fue muy extraño ver esas banderas sobre las tiendas, supongo que esto está relacionado con el cierre de esta calle para los autos, ahora será peatonal y algunas tiendas no estan de acuerdo con la medida.

The best Juice... for me :)

If you come to Trujillo, you have to taste this juice (it's called "surtido"), it is prepared with many fresh fruits. This place is traditional, my dad used to come here when he was an student... :)

Si visitas Trujillo, tienes que probar este jugo (le llaman "surtido"), está preparado con varias frutas frescas. Este lugar es tradicional, mi papá solía venir aquí cuando era estudiante... :)

Crabs!

" Cangrejo reventado", something like "Crab Busted"... a very popular dish in Trujillo. Crab is no so easy to eat but in this case, crab is previously destroyed, then it's mixed with a stew of potatoes, garlic, onions, egg and seaweed. Do you like taste it? :)
"Cangrejo Reventado" es un plato muy ípico de Trujillo, el cangrejo es previamente destrozado, luego es mezclado con guiso de papas, ajo, cebolla, huevo y algas. ¿Les gustaría probarlo? :)

Ritual Fishing

Today, Huanchaco participated in the Muchik Party with the Ritual Fishing, about 50 fishermen danced with their "caballito de totora" , then they go to the sea to celebrate their work. Our "Marinera norteña" was listened to for everybody too. Hoy Huanchaco participó en la Fiesta Muchik con el Ritual de Pesca, alrededor de 50 pescadoress artesanales danzaron con su caballito de totora y luego se lanzaron al mar para festejar su faena. La marinera norteña infaltable también!.

Lonely walk

If you go to Huanchaco beach, you'll always find this man and his horse. Spring is still cold but they work at the beach during all the year, he is a photographer. People visit this beach all the time, so he always will have clients.

Si visitas la playa de Huanchaco, siempre encontrarás a este señor y su caballo. La primavera aún está fría pero ambos trabajan en la playa durante todo el año, él es fotógrafo. Mucha gente visita la playe todo el tiempo, así que él siempre tendrá clientes.

Today was the Strawberry Festival in Menocucho (45 min from Trujillo), this fruit was sold directly by farmers from this town.
Hoy fue el Festival de Fresas en Menocucho (a 45 min deTrujillo), esta fruta fue vendida directamente por los productores de este pueblo.
