Sweet apples

I see this man everyday, he sells apples with caramel since 7.30am to 7:00pm, he cross the city with his apples. I know he walks near home at 1:00pm around, he never stops. I like this apples but I wonder how he smile when someone buy it, this hard work, and he is an urban hero.

The sweet "King Kong"


King Kong is a traditional desserts made of cakes (made of flour, butter, eggs and milk), stuffed with a sweet, creamy filling made with milk and sugar, pineapple jam and sweet of peanut, putting in a cake among them.

People tell that in the years of 1920, the famous film King Kong was exhibited in the city, and funny people compared the mold and size (20-25 cm of diameter) of this dessert with the figure of great gorilla, calling it since then the "King Kong".

King Kong es un dulce típico hecho de galletas (hechas de harina, mantequilla, yemas de huevo y leche), rellenas con manjar blanco, dulce de piña y dulce de maní, intercalando una galleta entre ellos.

La gente cuenta que en los años de 1920, se exhibía en la ciudad la famosa película del gorila King Kong, la picardía popular comparó el molde y tamaño de este postre (20-25 cm de diametro) con la figura del gran gorila, llamándolo desde entonces el King Kong.
