Every sunday some friends and I go to each district of Trujillo to guide about this election campaign, how to vote and what are the roles of the major. We have some games and spaces where people can say or write what is the most important for their district... This sunday is election day, we hope people can express a conscious vote, most of the time people prefer to hear promises which are not sure to be reality.
This side of the city (Jr. Independencia, block4) has the most famous old colonial houses, they always are on magazines for tourists. The first one is Libertadores Hotel, next blue house is "La Casona Cisneros o La Casona" (my office is here ;) ), the yellow house is "La Casona Pinillos", the red house is an office of an Hopital and finally we find the Beneficence building.
A beautiful old colonial house, this is the "Central Bank of Reserve", an institution for currency policy... all the time is almost empty, no many people come for here.
History Museum in Trujillo is visited oftenly by tourist, but sometimes people from Trujillo don't know it, this place is an old colonial house.
Today, I was at "Poroto" (a district of Trujillo) for working reasons and we visit a school (the only one there).
Yesterday, here, we remember and grieve for our dead relatives and many people went to the cementery as a culture death. In this day, we can find at the cementery some of music, a lot of flowers and sometimes some people cook special food in momorian of their dead relatives.
