Defending the Peruvian Amazon

Many citizens in the country marched in protest of laws that affect the native people and biodiversity of the Amazon. Also, they showed outrage at the death of natives and police in that region. Ciudadanos a nivel nacional marcharon en protesta por las leyes que afectan a los nativos y biodiversidad de la Amazonía. También, expresaron su indignacion por la muerte de nativos y policias en esa región.

Coconut water, fresh and natural ... this lady was selling jungle coconut water, she said it brings more juice and it's better, I didn't taste it, the way of selling is original.

Agua de coco, refrescante y natural... esta señora vende el agua de coco de la selva, trae más jugo y dicen que es mejor, no llegué a probarlo pero la manera de venderlo me pareció original.

colonial window

This window is a little different to the another old colonial windows, this is narrow, and the design juts out three stars. It belongs to Morales House, I think this house is one of the most beautiful of the city.

a touch of blue

At Trujillo downtown you can see similar old houses, some of them rent a part of the house and the new tenants paint only their part... this no so good, but is a curious note from downtown.

food no so fast

Sometimes you can find some fruit seller on the corners, they offer cheap and fresh fruit, you just open the door and the fruit cycle is there. And, if you ask me what is "Chifa", well it woulld be another post :) ...Chifa is the Chinesse food in peruavian way, really delicious!

A veces se puede encontrar a vendedores de frutas en las esquinas ofreciendo fruta fresca y barata, tú sólo abres y allí está el triciclo de fruta. Y, si me preguntan que es un "Chifa", bueno eso sería otro post :) ...Chifa es la comida china a la manera peruana, realmente muy bueno!
