In the middle of the smoke...

I was a beautful sunset... but the smoke of sugar cane was so inopportune but it gives an interesting view.

I was sleepy while I was coming back to Trujillo and I saw too much smoke, this a detail of that, i liked the sun. Here, sugar cane is fired to harvest this plant.

Estaba dormitando mientras regresaba a Trujillo y vi mucho humo en el campo, esta foto es un detalle de eso, me gustó el sol. Aquí, la caña de azucar tiene que ser quemada para poder ser cosechada.

A "sweet" job

These men work in a sugar factory, they arrive at the field to clean the plants, it's no common to see them so early, many people seed sugar cane for selling to this entreprise... the factory is in Laredo (20 min from Trujillo), called "The Sweet City". When you drive near to the factory you can smell the sugar.
