Sometimes you can find interesting things on the beach... besides, the best is to find just sand.

Pineaple Land

Poroto is a district of Trujillo, it's very popular for its pineaple production since 30 years ago, there are almost 400 pineaple farmers in a town of 3000 people.

A "sweet" job

These men work in a sugar factory, they arrive at the field to clean the plants, it's no common to see them so early, many people seed sugar cane for selling to this entreprise... the factory is in Laredo (20 min from Trujillo), called "The Sweet City". When you drive near to the factory you can smell the sugar.

La Prefectura

This house is named "Casa Muñoz y Cañete", it was built during 18th century, it has a traditional colonial and republican architecture... Nowadays, this house belongs to local goverment.

Say Cheeeeese!

Walking along the beach I found this little seagull... a surprise for both ^^

Good Bye Summer

Vacation is over for many people, autumm is coming... Huanchaco beach is getting alone in these days, but there're always some surfers enjoying the sea.

" Cucarda" is one of my favorite flowers, it's a flower from my childhood... This flower is very common in South America, in red is very beautiful.

In some blocks you can find this old colonial houses in this way, thier owners leave them beacuse is very expensive re built them, in some cases, some banks take them for rebuilt them...

Huaca Rajada

There are many huacas in Peru, many of them are important monuments but another ones are forgotten and lost... This is Huaca "Rajada", it's called thus for the big cut at the center of the huaca, it's in front to the Archaeological Complex "El Brujo" in madalena de Cao. Now, it's forbidden to enter because this places is not so secure, it needs to be rebuilt and show all its walls and many things no discovered yet.

Let's fish

The dock of Huanchaco is a special place to fond of the fishing, most of they are children, on the weekends this people try to prove luck, some have it and other not a lot.

Funny View

I was going back to Trujillo and suddenly on the road I saw this guys with their job car: a beetle, I took the pic very quickly but they smiled for my camera ^^.

It's rare to see these workers in this kind of car beacuse their job is related to public electricity .

Gourd birdhouses

This gourds are handpainted by moche artists, they belong to Art School and sell this gourds to foreign people, because in Peru, people don't use this products for nests o birdhouses, but this young people is creating new products for local consumers... it's a challenge for them.

Art in stone

In Pacasmayo, one hour and half from Trujillo, there are many artisans which work with "marmolina" stone, this kind of stone are a little soft and it has a lot of colors. This artisans make animals mainly, in series, in special times they prepare an unique work for enterprises o collecter people.

Cerro Blanco

This view belong to "Cerro Blanco", when you see this color in the river you know it's raining at the highland, this is good for the farmers...

Photo Beach

In summer, it's very common to see photographers taking photos to the people on the sand, they take with them a set of toys for kids... a job so hard.

Happy Day Girls

Today is the Woman's Day... this is a moche ceramic with a farmer woman. Maybe, this day is very common for many people but in many places of the world women aren't consider like citizens.

Moche Handcraft

Traditional moche handcraft recreates the old Moche ceramic, their colors and stories. This place is one of the most important workshops, these artisans maintain thier technique of generation to generation.

Yellow and blue are my favorite colors for old colonial houses, it's very common yellow one but not always is together a blue house... My job is in the first blue house ;)

In Arequipa City, called "The white city", artcraft is very special, it's cheaper and oiginal, people use wood, metal, cotton, leather and sillar stone (white stone).
