In Moche, a little town from Trujillo, some people gives thanks to God for many favors in a different way, they offer fruits as an gift of their work, a week later they give all that fruit for everyone.

Liberty

The main sculpture of Trujillo is here, at the main square, i's called Liberty Statue. My city was the first place inPeru to start the independence.

(I was very busy, I had exams and a lot of homeworks...now I´m here again XD )

Giving light no at night

During the day, it's a good time to see this lamps in a better way, main square has a lot of this lamps which are new, the old ones were changed.

It's common to see a few group of painters in Trujillo main square, but not ever they have a model, people prefer give a photo and then go back for the drawing... she prefered to be a model for a minutes, would you like too?

taking photos

In Trujillo Main Square you can find eight older photographers, they take photos in a "traditional" way, I was there when one of them took a pic and it was amazing!!! ... in 15 minutes he had a nice pic, a little laboratory in a box.

ps: this photographer works here since 50 years ago.

Quiet day

Sunday, a quiet day in Trujillo, many people go Huanchaco beach for a relax moment and there we can find surfers practicing in the sea all the day... today isn't a shine day

lamps

This lamps are very common in Trujillo, old houses keep the style and the new ones sometimes, the oldest houses are in this part of the city (Jr. San Martin).

Lines of light

Walking on the Jr. Pizarro I saw a detail of a nice house, many of this kind of houses belong to banks but this isn't the case.

Contrasts

This is an opctic center, it's a new building and reflects an old house which is typical in the Historic Center of Trujillo... sometimes I think old houses will be just a reflect.

Cathedral at night

This is a part of Main Square of Trujillo, the yellow building is the most important and oldest church. At night, it looks so quiet and many people like to walk and talk with their friends.

A first sight

The begining of my dailyphotoblog is in this window... in my city something characteristic is its architecture and this kind of windows are very special and representative for the north of Peru. Some centuries ago Trujillo was Truxillo, and I like so much the last one.
